15 febbraio 2018 - Uscito ieri in occasione del San Valentino, il video di River, la canzone di Eminem con Ed Sheeran, ha fatto letteralmente il botto di visualizzazioni su YouTube nel giro di sole 24 ore dalla messa online. Più di 5milioni di clic in un giorno, tanto che la clip è entrata di diritto nei trend del momento.
Il motivo? Una piccola burla da parte di Eminem, che ha augurato un Unhappy Valentine's Day su Twitter e Facebook, per preparare i suoi fan al video, dedicato alle storie d'amore sbagliate. Più precisamente quelle in cui lui non è esattamente il Principe Azzurro, ma ammette con un certo orgoglio di non esserlo. La cosa deve aver incuriosito in molti, visti i numeri da capogiro.
Il testo della canzone è un po' forte e per questo traduciamo solo l'inciso. Anche le immagini non solo leggere e mostrano liti di coppia, anche piuttosto infervorate. Per chi volesse leggere le lyrics originali in versione integrale, lo può fare subito dopo la clip ufficiale di River.
Notizia interessante, Ed Sheeran pare abbia registrato la sua parte vocale in uno studio di registrazione speciale. Quello allestito nella casa dell'attore Russel Crowe e più precisamente nella sua fattoria australiana, dove Sheeran era ospite quando gli è arrivata la proposta di duetto da parte del rapper americano.
